I came to the UK many years ago as a student and felt an instant connection. I now have lived longer in London than in the US and I find that my dual citizenship equals dual perspective. I still view London with the enthusiasm of a newcomer but the wisdom of a local.

After a career in freelance writing, during which time I wrote a walking guide to London, I decided to combine my love of history, literature and London by retraining as a guide. I've been lucky to travel all over the world and take many guided tours. This has given me context both on London's place in the world and how to provide an informative tour that is fun.

Monarchy, literature, women in history and the diverse neighbourhoods of London are my great passions. I regularly design specialized itineraries for  intergenerational family groups. There is nothing better than spending a day out walking and sharing my love for and knowledge of this great city.
